Real conditions.
Since 1998, we operated our test site in Grevenbroich as a dedicated environment for testing renewable energy technologies under real conditions (field testing). With the necessary infrastructure, measurement technology and technical expertise, we support manufacturers, component manufacturers, start-ups, universities and others in testing, validating and optimizing their systems and products.
Today the test site is not limited to wind energy. It provides sites and infrastructure for different renewable technologies.

Today the test site
is not limited to wind energy.
It provides space and infrastructure for a growing range of technologies:

Battery Storage Systems
Our test site provides the infrastructure and conditions needed to test and evaluate battery storage systems.
The testing focuses on grid integration and noise.
Combined Heat and Power Plants
The test site is also available for testing combined heat and power units (CHP) and other energy systems. The Testing focuses on grid integration measurements including FRT tests with our own containers.
Small Wind Turbines
Small wind turbines can be tested under operating conditions at our test site. Measurements provide valuable data for performance, noise and mechanical loads
Guided Tours
Experience our test site.
Our guided tours offer an insight into our test site, its infrastructure and the technologies being tested. We welcome schools, universities, industry professionals and other interested groups.
