Blade Alignment

The right angle for optimal performance.

Precise rotor blade alignment is essential for consistent and efficient wind turbine performance. Even small deviations from the intended blade angle can affect power output and increase mechanical loads. Using contact-free, laser-based 3D measurement technology, we capture rotor blade geometry and identify deviations from the specified blade angles. This allows us to assess whether blade misalignments may be contributing to performance losses.

Your Benefit

• Service in cooperation with our experienced partner WIND-consult, that pioneered blade alignment measurement technologies

• Fast and targeted assessment of blade positioning

• Early identification of potential performance losses

• Reduced measurement effort compared to a full power curve measurement

• Reliable basis for corrective measures and optimization

• Support for maintaining efficient and consistent turbine operation

Our Expertise

• > 30 projects in North America in cooperation with WIND-consult Germany

• > 5 years of experience

• High-precision 3D measurement of rotor blade geometry

• Verification of blade angles and alignment

• Identification of deviations

• Assessment of potential impacts on performance, loads and noise

• Efficient Measurement without the need for a full power curve test
